Polycave is an experimental virtual reality prototype that explores new ways of learning Japanese through immersive interaction and spatial experiences.
Developed over the course of several days, the project investigated how VR could be used to present language learning in a more engaging and experiential way, allowing learners to progress through interactive environments while encountering vocabulary and language concepts in context.
Rather than relying solely on traditional study methods, Polycave explored how movement, exploration, and environmental interaction could become part of the learning process. The prototype demonstrated the potential of virtual reality as a tool for language education and provided valuable insights into immersive learning design.
The project reflects Nekologic's ongoing interest in educational technology, game-based learning, and new approaches to language acquisition.
