Nekologic was engaged by West End Studio to develop a mixed reality application for Microsoft HoloLens to be used at a medical conference.

The experience allowed attendees to view and interact with a three-dimensional model of an unhealthy heart positioned over a physical exhibition stand. Through a series of interactive demonstrations, visitors could explore the effects of the advertised treatment and better understand the underlying medical condition and its progression.

Developed from the ground up, the application combined real-world presentation with digital content to create an engaging educational experience. In addition to building the software, Nekologic optimised the supplied 3D assets to ensure smooth performance on HoloLens hardware and created additional content as the project evolved.

Delivered within a demanding schedule and challenging hardware constraints, the project successfully demonstrated the potential of mixed reality technology for medical communication, education, and exhibition experiences.
