This experimental augmented reality prototype was developed to explore how digital experiences could enhance a visitor attraction through interactive storytelling and environmental exploration.
Visitors could scan dinosaur models and artworks placed throughout the gardens to unlock animated 3D content, sound effects, and additional information presented by a virtual avatar of the landlady. The experience combined physical objects with augmented reality to encourage exploration and provide a more engaging way to discover the surroundings.
Developed as a proof-of-concept, it explored how augmented reality could enrich visitor experiences and bring personality and storytelling into real-world environments. Although the concept was not taken forward to commercial release, the prototype successfully validated the technical approach and user experience.
