Dabel.

Dabel is an audio-first social platform designed around small group conversations, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusive communication. The platform was created to provide a more personal and thoughtful alternative to large-scale social networks and always-on voice communities.

Nekologic joined the project to provide iOS and Ruby on Rails development support, working closely with the DokiDoki team to improve the stability and maintainability of the platform. Our work included refactoring key areas of the codebase, resolving technical debt accumulated during rapid early development, and helping prepare the application for continued growth and operation.

In addition to hands-on engineering, we provided guidance on testing, DevOps, LiveOps, project management, and development workflows, helping strengthen the processes required to support a long-term live service application. We also contributed to early experimentation around spatial and immersive audio technologies through prototype work on DokiDoki's Audio Metaverse initiative.
