CGA's 5G Network Planning Tool combines digital twin technology, machine learning, and advanced network modelling to predict and optimise wireless network performance before live deployment. The platform enables operators and venues to simulate real-world conditions, identify potential bottlenecks, and dynamically allocate network resources as demand changes.
Nekologic contributed to the development and deployment of the system for the Salt & Tar Music Festival in Liverpool, supporting a live event attended by more than 12,000 people. By creating a digital representation of the venue and generating large volumes of synthetic operational data, the platform enabled advanced analysis of network behaviour before and during deployment.
Data generated by the system was also provided to researchers at the Hartree Centre, where it was used to explore optimisation techniques, including research involving quantum computing approaches to network planning and resource allocation.
